Truly an elevated experience! An excellent introduction to the Silversea brand. I did this as a solo trip, with three nights in Rome beforehand.

    Brian's notes

We booked this cruise TWO DAYS before we sailed! We had a last minute opening in our schedule and miraculously they had some availability, though we had to split up and take two rooms. It was our first time on the Edge class.

    7 night Bermuda cruise

    Ports

Cape Liberty (Bayonne, NJ) Bermuda (2 overnights) Cape Liberty

    Brian's notes

My parents sailed with us also, which was fun. I'm not a fan of being way over in the Royal Naval Dockyard, even if there are some shops and restaurants there. It feels too disconnected from the rest of Bermuda.

    Brian's notes

We decided we wanted to be warm for the holidays! Back on the Eclipse after spending 12 nights onboard just a few months earlier. I'd booked a bunch of fun family shore excursions before we left home, and then son managed to twist his ankle two hours into the cruise. Despite the setback we still had a memorable Christmas and New Years.

    Brian's notes

This was such an interesting and unique voyage for us. My wife is from Nova Scotia and lived in Halifax, so we were able to visit with family there and see familiar sites again. We did the Signal Hill hike in St. John's. And we were able to see some parts of Iceland we hadn't visited on our land trip the year before.

    Brian's notes

Our first BIG vacation after getting married, we treated this like a second honeymoon. We were super fortunate to make friends with another couple onboard and ended up doing several of the shore excursions with them. Oh, and Sherri was able to license one of the photos she took of Tangier to an ad agency for the Mastercard Priceless campaign! We saw so many great places on this voyage.

    Brian's notes

Our honeymoon cruise, and my first time stepping onboard a Celebrity ship after working for them five years earlier. Unfortunately, we got wicked sunburn in the first few hours of being onboard, greatly underestimating the powerful Caribbean sun.
